I Didn't Start With a Business Plan.
I Started With a Toolbox.
I grew up around construction. My dad was a carpenter, and I spent most of my childhood handing him tools and watching how things went together. By the time I was 16, I was framing walls on summer jobs. By 20, I knew this was what I wanted to do — not behind a desk, but in someone's home, solving real problems with my hands.
I founded Cornerstone in 2012 after years of working for larger contractors and seeing the same thing over and over: homeowners frustrated by poor communication, missed deadlines, and costs that ballooned after the handshake. I figured there had to be a better way. So I went out on my own with a simple promise — show up when I say I will, charge what I quoted, and do work I'd be proud to put my name on.
Twelve years in, that hasn't changed. I still answer my own phone. I still write my own estimates. I still swing the hammer myself. The business has grown through word of mouth — neighbors telling neighbors, property managers passing my card along — and that's exactly how I want it.
I'm not the cheapest option and I'm not the biggest crew. But if you want someone who treats your home the way I treat mine — with respect, precision, and accountability — then I think we'll get along just fine.
Craftsmanship
I measure twice, cut once, and sweat the details that other contractors skip.
Fair Pricing
Transparent written quotes. No hidden fees, no surprise change orders, no bait-and-switch.
Communication
I answer my phone, return texts same-day, and keep you updated without you having to chase me.
